Refund Policy

Order Cancellation:

  • If you need to cancel your booking, please do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled event. Cancellations made within this timeframe will be eligible for a full refund.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event.

Change of Booking Date Policy

Requesting a Change:

  • If you need to change the date of your booking, please contact us at least 48 hours before the original booking date. Requests made within this timeframe will be considered based on our availability.

Availability:

  • While we strive to accommodate all requests for date changes, please understand that rescheduling will depend on our availability. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to honor all requests.

How to Request a Change:

  • To request a change of booking date, please contact us in writing via email at contact@starryscreenexp.com.au or through our contact form on the website. Provide your booking details and the preferred new date in your request.

Confirmation:

  • We will confirm the new booking date as soon as possible. If we are unable to accommodate the change, we will notify you promptly.

Important Note:

  • Changes requested less than 48 hours before the booking date cannot be accommodated, and the original booking will remain in place.

Weather Policy:

  • In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we will make every effort to set up your event indoors if possible. However, due to the nature of our services, we will not issue refunds for cancellations or changes due to bad weather. Please make sure you take in account of the weather condition of the day when you do your booking.

General Terms:

  • All requests for refunds or cancellations must be made in writing via email to contact@starryscreenexp.com.au or through our contact form on the website.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation, provided the cancellation meets the criteria outlined above.
  • Any disputes regarding refunds will be handled in accordance with our terms and conditions.

When will you deliver, setup & pick up?

We will deliver and set up on the day of your booking at 5:30pm, with the setup completed within 45 minutes. If this time needs to be altered to move later, please contact us via email to notify us. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate to move the delivery time before 5:30pm. We will pick up the items the same day at 11:15 pm so you'll be enjoying for 5 hours.

What should I do after I am done?

You can leave everything as it is until our arrival. If the weather turns unfavorable, try to secure it or move it to a safer location. The pop-corn machine should be wipe-cleaned if you have hired it. 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?

Cancellations or rescheduling can be done 48 hours before your booking date. Rescheduling is subject to availability. For more details, please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy or email us at contact@starryscreenexp.com.au.

What areas do you service?

We currently service within a 30km radius of Merrylands, 2160 in Sydney. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, please contact us for more information.

What if the weather is bad on the day of my event?

If the weather is bad on the day of your event, we will set up indoors, if possible, but we do not offer refunds or cancellations on the booking day. Customers are responsible for ensuring that weather conditions are favourable on the day of the event. Rescheduling or cancellations should be done 48 hours before the booking date.

What size is the experience set-up, and how much space do I need?

The setup includes a 120-inch screen, which is quite large and best suited for outdoor or backyard use; it measures 2.1 meters high and 2.7 meters wide. Our carpet, which accommodates the seating, is 2 meters by 3 meters in size. However, we can adapt to various spaces to create a cozy experience tailored to your needs.
