Welcome to Starry Screen Experience! These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for using our website, booking our services, and interacting with our products. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Introduction
This document constitutes an agreement between you (the "Customer") and Starry Screen Experience (the "Company"). By booking our services through www.starryscreenexp.com.au, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.
2. Definitions
- Service: The delivery, setup, and pickup of outdoor and indoor entertainment packages, including but not limited to movie/game/live action and karaoke/popcorn machine setups.
- Package: A combination of equipment, such as projectors, speakers, screens, and seating, offered for service.
- Customer: The individual or organisation booking and using the services of Starry Screen Experience.
3. Service Description
Starry Screen Experience offers various entertainment packages for outdoor and indoor events. Packages may include items like projectors, screens, speakers, Amazon Fire Sticks, Blu-ray players, and seating such as inflatable sofas and chairs. We provide delivery, setup, and pickup services but do not provide staff during the event. The setup team will provide basic instructions on operating the equipment during the delivery process.
4. Booking and Payments
- All bookings must be made through our website, www.starryscreenexp.com.au by selecting a specific package and date.
- Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your booking.
- Payment is due upon booking, and we accept payments via credit card, debit card, PayPal and available third-party payment processors.
- Any transaction fees from third-party payment processors are the customer’s responsibility.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event date.
- Cancellations made within this timeframe will be eligible for a full refund.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less then 48 hours before the event.
6. Rescheduling Policy
- Rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours before the event, subject to availability.
- Requests made within this timeframe will be considered based on our availability.
7. Delivery, Setup, and Pickup
- We deliver, setup and pickup with no additional costs within a 30km radius of Merrylands, 2160. If you are unsure if this includes your area, kindly contact us via email.
- We will arrive at your location at 5:30pm and setup it up within 45 minutes.
- We will also demonstrate how to use the equipment safely and effectively. If you encounter any issues during the use of equipment, please contact us immediately for assistance.
- Customers must ensure access to the delivery and setup area, and it should be clear and ready for setup upon our team’s arrival.
- Pickup will be done on the same day at exactly 11:15 pm.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers are responsible for the safe and proper use of the equipment during the rental period.
- The customer agrees to follow the usage instructions provided during setup.
- Equipment should be protected from damage, theft, and weather conditions.
- If equipment is not used correctly or is returned damaged, the customer may be charged for repair or replacement costs.
9. Liability and Disclaimer
- Starry Screen Experience is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during the use of our equipment or services.
- We will not be liable for any disruptions, interruptions, or delays caused by equipment failure, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.
10. Damage and Loss
- Customers are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period, excluding normal wear and tear.
- If equipment is returned in a damaged condition, customers will be charged for the repair or replacement, at the discretion of Starry Screen Experience.
11. Force Majeure
- Starry Screen Experience shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of government, or other emergencies.
12. Termination of Service
- Starry Screen Experience reserves the right to terminate services or cancel a booking at any time if these terms are violated or due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Customers may terminate services by cancelling their booking per the cancellation policy above.
13. Privacy Policy
- Any personal information collected during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell customer information to third parties, except for processing payments and fulfilling bookings.
14. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
15. Changes to Terms
- Starry Screen Experience reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of our services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
